Founder & Fitness Coach
Andy
Andy has a life-long passion for all things relating to health, fitness, nutrition and wellbeing. He trained and worked as a chef for the first 15 years of his career in restaurants, schools and children’s nurseries. In the nurseries parents would track Andy down to ask how he managed to create recipes that their children loved to eat that contained all the vegetables and vitamins that they wouldn’t eat elsewhere!
Andy latterly transitioned into the world of health and weight management and now works with adults, children, pregnant ladies and adults with learning difficulties supporting them to learn about sustainable healthy eating, lifestyle management and nutrition and to build strategies and new habits to support them in reaching and sustaining a healthy weight and to feel energetic and confident.
In parallel to this, Andy trained as a personal trainer (PT) and as a sports massage therapist. He began to work in the evenings and weekends as an instructor in gyms, a PT from home, and as a massage therapist supporting people with a whole range of aches and pains!
Andy brings his cheffing background with his passion for food and nutrition together all together in his nutritional services where he continues to offer private consultations to understand personalised nutritional needs.
He writes bespoke meal plans which he tailors specifically to each person to deliver macros as well as health requirements and he loves to include recipe ideas tailored to peoples specific needs and budgets. Popular requests range from reducing body inflammation and improving immunity, eating for health and vitality during pregnancy, nutrition to recover from burnout, nutrition for diabetics, building muscle and reducing visceral and subcutaneous fat, to personalised nutrition for perimenopause and menopause.
People describe Andy as warm, down to earth, knowledgeable, supportive and a self-confessed life-long learner who has been propelled by dyslexia to go the extra mile and support people from where they are at and from their own shoes.
